Sherabo Organics Inc. is a black woman-founded and led indie beauty brand, dedicated to hand crafting high-quality vegan, toxic-free skincare using the enriching properties of organic Nilotica shea butter.

Sherabo Organics’ Nilotica Ugandan Shea is distinctively different from the commonly known West African Shea. Our butter is Nature’s rarest, superior variety  rich in Vitamins A, E and essential fatty acids and with a soft, creamy balm to oil texture that melts at skin temperature absorbing right away. They are not tested on animals.

What truly defines Sherabo Organics is the fusion of nature and heritage. Guided by my Ugandan roots and a personal journey to heal my skin naturally, we offer skincare solutions that resonate with authenticity and wellness. Our Shea skincare has 0% water, alcohol & chemicals.

About the Founder

Stress broke my skin - My Journey to Sherabo Organics Inc

In 2014, I went through one of the most difficult chapters of my life. my skin was covered with lesions.I went through a series of tests, biopsies, and anxious waiting. Thankfully, it wasn’t cancer, but I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition triggered by stress. As the lesions healed, my skin was scared pigmented. The dermatologist prescribed steriods and a chemical whitening creams to lighten the scars. But my body was already overwhelmed. I couldn’t bring myself to apply more harsh chemicals to skin that clearly needed gentle care.

This experience affected my self esteem and I lost confidence. I felt disconnected from my own skin. But this adversity gave me drive to find a solution. I started searching for natural, nourishing alternatives and that search led me back to my Ugandan roots of experimenting with Ugandan Nilotica shea butter. I began using it consistently, blending it with other simple, skin-loving ingredients. Slowly, I noticed a difference. My skin started healing. Today my skin has healed and my natural skin tone has been restored.  I am confident to wear whatever I want and the scaring has all faded.

In 2017, I turned my craft into a business opportunity. A desire to offer our therapeutic shea butters to families seeking for toxic free therapeutic moisturizers.

 Every hand made Sherabo product  is vegan, toxic-free, and crafted with purpose. I call them skin food Shea Butters because they are made with food grade ingredients that feed the skin gently and naturally. If you cant consume an ingredient, it should not be on your skin.

As an immigrant and Black woman, my path to entrepreneurship hasn’t been easy. But it’s been driven by something bigger: the need to create change, challenge the norm, and offer honest skincare that honors every part of who we are. Sherabo Organics isn’t just a brand, it’s a reflection of my story, a celebration of healing, resilience, and self-love.
